What is Career Coaching?

Career coaching is...

  • Clarifying what motivates you
  • Describing your ideal career environment
  • Understanding what your strengths and skills are
  • Deciding what you need to do to move to a satisfying and suitable career, or to start a new business or to make your current career more fulfilling
  • Identifying any barriers to succeeding in these career aspirations
  • Receiving support from an expert who will help you progress by helping you stay motivated and focussed through the highs and lows of your journeys

My aim is for you:

  • To know who you are and what you would like out of a career
  • To choose a career or to start a business which fulfils and challenges you
  • To feel as though you have the right balance between career and family
  • To believe that you have chosen the best career for you at this point in your life
  • To feel positive about the impact that your career choice / business has on your family

Why work with a career coach?

You will stop going round in circles in your head wondering whether or not you should change career or start a business. You will quickly clarify your thoughts and make career decisions because of the support, structure, expertise and accountability the coach provides.

Coaching is successful when

  • You are open to challenging your thoughts and ideas
  • You would like to change your current career position (even it is improving your current job)
  • You are able to focus on yourself in a safe environment with a non-judgemental person whose agenda is the same as yours - to help you feel satisfied with your career and work-life balance!

What next?

Take a small step by emailing or phoning me to book a free exploratory session. The aim of these sessions is to work out whether you are in a position to benefit from coaching and find out whether I am the right coach for you. I will certainly not try and 'sell' you coaching. My aim is to help people who want to be helped.

Alternatively, feel free to ring or email me if you have questions. A significant distinction between successful people and less successful people is that successful people make decisions and then act on them. Less successful people procrastinate.
